Misty Blue Media Welcomes Holly Charles
Misty Blue Media announces the hire of Holly Charles, M.A., as its newest publicist in the Houston office. The hire is in step with plans to add more talented professionals to sustain and expand the reputable brands of Misty Blue Media and its sister company 3B Resources Group Public Relations.
Charles began her career in production at Warner Brothers’ The Judge Mathis Show, and she has spent several years as an English instructor. She is the author of the novel, Velvet, which explores the relationships between African American mothers and daughters. Charles has gained local attention as writer, producer and founder of the nonprofit theater company Houston Play On Purpose, which has produced stage plays including “In All Thy Getting,” “I’m Still a Woman,” and “Black, White & Sunshine.”
“I am both excited and humbled by the opportunity to work under the direction of Misty Starks. Her integrity, expertise and dedication to excellence attracted me to Misty Blue Media, and I believe that our creative union will serve not only our business, but that of our clients,” Charles said.

Charles holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from Purdue University and a master’s degree from Prairie View A&M University.
